The Tour Eiffel is one of the world's most known monument. With his 325 meters, it is one of the biggest monument in the world. The Tour Eiffel is the French symbol around the world. it was built by Gustave Eiffel in March 1889 commemorating the French revolution's centenary. The tower has 3 platforms ; a restaurant who is very expensive and reservations are necessary, the Jules Verne (another restaurant) is on the second platform and on the top (warning if you are dizzy !), there is a bar, a souvenir shop and the Gustave Eiffel's office.
The Tour Eiffel is located at Trocadero, in the first district (arrondissement), near from the champ de Mars. 6 million people per year, from every kind of nationality come to see the monument and visit it, if they have money of course and if they are patiently waiting, because for enter in, you need to wait about 15-30 minutes if you are lucky ! Since its creation in 1889, about 180 millions people have already stopped by the Tour Eiffel. When there are some events such as Soccer World Cup or the Fete de la Musique, french people come to celebrate them near from the Tour Eiffel because it is a symbolic place. While the New Year's Eve, the tower lights shine by a lot of colors to turn into a new year.
We choose to introduce you the Tour Eiffel because it is the most famous monument, and everyone of us like to go there and we wish we learn you something you didn't know about it.
