Notre-Dame de Paris

Notre-Dame de Paris is a very famous cathedral of the capital on l'Ile de la Cité. It has a gothic style architecture.




The monument it was built between 1163 and 1345. It was partly destroyed under the revolution (1789-1799) but it was restored 1845 to 1864 by Viollet-le-Duc. Dimensions : 41 m in width

This cathedral is a very famous monument inrance.




There are 12.5 million people visiting it every year and there are many tourists to stop to visit this cathedral.




Victor Hugo wrote a novelist and there is french films of Notre-Dame de Paris .




The most famous is the musical comedy who sing about Esmeralda and Quasimodo love story.
